BUT, without the grasp of universally fundamental spiritual truths (i.e. service to self VS service to Others) existential problems (i.e: of ego) can be exponentially increased. Enlightenment is an organic process that cannot be forced or cheated... May seem to work for some; but can seriously F.S.U. if one is not ready to confront the shadow self.
