You can’t prove that kid wouldn’t have killed himself had he not used Salvia, and the death caused by “poppy seed tea” is the -only- such incident I’ve heard about.
I also remember reading that his parents knew for some time that he was drinking tea (made from either poppy seed or straw it’s never clear) and dismissed it as a harmless practice which seemed to help him with something, instead of doing some simple research or even asking a f*ing doctor — Idiots.

I love how he says “Drugs so powerful, taking them immobilizes you, blah blah.”, then shows kratom. I’ve had kratom and it’s about as powerful as a cup of coffee. The way people freak out about any potential drug is stupid. Soon they’ll be pushing to illegalize coffee. I think people should be allowed to use drugs unless they show they can’t handle it. Don’t punish the all the responsible people because of a few idiots.
how many people have sued a supermarket for selling the alcohol that made the drunk driver crash and kill their family member, or walk in front of a car, fall off roof etc.
we need to teach people what is use and what is abuse.

Outlawing drugs is rediculus! You CANT ever stop people from using drugs! Prohibition and the war on drugs is a COMPLETE FAILURE! All it does is make criminal drug cartels richer and richer! They LOVE the war on drugs cause they wouldnt make any profits if it was legal to buy at a store!
Alcohol and cigarettes kill more people than all the illegal drugs combined! Why isnt anyone trying to outlaw that? ONE PERSON died from salvia and you wanna outlaw that than alcohol kills millions! Before you make salvia illegal, outlaw alcohol and cigarettes FIRST since they KILL MORE PEOPLE!

and this is another reason to legalize weed ppl love it but dont want to lose their jobs or go to jail so they search for other legal alternatives.
They should be kept legal, and some of the weaker drugs that are illegal should be made legal – but on the packaging there should be warnings, and info on what is the safest amount for your weight and the safest way to take it — that way deaths will be prevented

This would of built up over daily use for a while, then more than likely he got a weak batch of seeds so dosed high, then next got a strong set and thought they would of been the same.
Drug abuse needs to be stopped but the war on drugs is making more criminals then it is stopping.
Let us think on different levels !
Many cultures have been using these for thousands of years !
The goverment are making all our plants illegal. there trying to tell us how to live. Chemicals don’t cause abuse, lack of knowledge dose.
Plants will teach you so much, read up as much as you can.
